Bacteria, Viruses, and Moulds
Bacteria and moulds are part of the natural world. Along with viruses, which are infectious agents requiring a host, they are found in many human settings and workplaces. High levels of bacteria, mould, and/or viruses (on surfaces) aren’t healthy for any person, let alone a child with a developing immune system.
As a professional cleaning business, Sleek Cleaning Services is aware of the many bacteria, viruses, and moulds that can exist in a childcare centre. We use quality cleaning chemicals to reduce these threats to health and safety. Common bacterial, viral (surface), and mould threats found in the general community are listed below.
Bacteria- Staphylococcus (Staph)
- Group A Streptococcus (GAS)
- Salmonella
- Escherichia coli (E. coli)
- Campylobacter
- Shigella
